A highly experienced research educator and developer, lecturer, facilitator, event host, and author with a passion for research communication, research integrity and ethics. His work as a corporate trainer has seen him run hundreds of unique workshops for thousands of high-performing people in Singapore and internationally. He started his career in the government sectors, which saw him being awarded with various awards and recognitions.
He takes pride in his art — communication — no matter the medium or media: writing, speaking, teaching, and listening. The key for him is to get people to not just listen, but to understand.
Dr Elmi Zulkarnain loves solving challenging problems.
In his spare time, he wrangles two toddlers, tutor, write horror stories (buy Stillborn – The Legend of Pontianak and Other Supernatural Ghost Stories) read, and does volunteer and grassroots work – sometimes all at once.
